I
recently was give the pleasure of creating a unique print for Jenny and
Chris of Cairn Bay Lodge. It was to celebrate Chris' parents fiftieth
wedding anniversary, and incorporated their names, their children and
grandchildren, and the different places they have lived.
The
inset letters are printed using letterpress and the outside detail is
screen printed. It includes a bronze garland, with a line from a biblical
saying, and a map garland, made up of cut leaves from an old map of
N.Ireland.
It has been finished with stitching in yellow thread, and some appliqued matt colour leaves.
I hope they are pleased when presented with it tomorrow- Happy 50th!
